The Claiborne Parish fairground facilities, located in Haynesville, provide 32 RV hook-ups for overnight stays or longer. The Fair Barn offers a large auditorium with 8,000 square feet of space, perfect for banquets, meetings and reunions. A smaller, adjacent meeting room is 3,000 square feet. Both rooms are fully air conditioned.

A covered 14,400 square feet livestock pavilion features a three-sided balcony overhead. Also available are the historic Gordon School House, and original 'dog trot' home, and a restored caboose.

Haynesville also has two swimming pools, baseball fields, tennis courts, a library and two parks. The town is located a short distance from scenic Lake Claiborne, a popular spot for water sports, camping, fishing, boating and hunting.

Claiborne Parish Fair

The Claiborne Parish Fair is is held the last week in September. The fair will have both day time and night time activities. Day time activities will include: School Group Day; Cooking Show with Rand and Nancy Killgore; and Bingo. Night time activities will include: gospel singing, livestock judging and of course games and rides on the Mid-Way.
