The Claiborne Parish Police Jury Meetings are held on the first Wednesday after the first Sunday each month beginning at 9 AM. Agendas are presented the day before the Wednesday meeting. Meeting Minutes require approval by Jury members prior to presentation and will be available thereafter.

The goals of Trailblazer Rural Development Institute are to promote the conservation, development, and utilization of natural resources; to improve the general level of economic activity; and to enhance the environment and standard of living in all communities.
Claiborne Parish Registrar of Voters Patricia Sanders is asking all voters to notify her office if they have changed their residence, if the residence address on file in the Registrar's office is incomplete or if their mailing address has changed. Anyone who has not voted in the last two federal elections or anyone with an incomplete or new address, may have been placed on the inactive list. The Claiborne Council on Aging is a parish-wide dedicated facility for older persons offering recreation, education, meals, health sessions, meeting and support group space.
